Update On The Book
Updated: Sep 3, 2018

As you know, as I've plastered it just about everywhere, my book, "Onward: A Funny, Heartbreaking and Insightful Collection of Faith Lessons" will be published in December.
This week I had my author photo taken and I must say, I look gorgeous in my pictures. The photographer, a sweet and talented friend, had me contort my body in all kinds of wacky positions in order to achieve a "natural look." I mastered the poses which just confirmed my long standing suspicion that I should have been a super model. As soon as I get the official photo, then I can begin my book cover contest and I hope you'll join in and help me pick the best looking one!
This week, I receive edits from my team of beta readers and I'll be back at work revising, revising and more revising before my baby is sent off to the editor at the end of the month. If you want to keep up with my comings and goings, please follow my Facebook group for lots of interactive fun.
I have to say, the best part of self publishing has been being able to involve so many friends and readers in this book writing process. Pray for me, friends. Everyone keeps asking me about my target audience. "Who are you writing for?" They ask. And so often I want to say, "For God." That's my goal, to write with praise and passion and present the offering to God, one that is the best I have to give. And my hope is that if I keep that in mind, He will use the book to reach people. I'm so grateful for your prayers to keep me focused on this mission. I'd also be grateful for pumpkin iced coffee. Just in case you are feeling particularly generous!
